When deciding the best way to cover the Teva Mountain Games in Vail we knew we had to somehow convey the ‘full experience’ of the games. With a list of events including kayaking, climbing, biking, fishing and many others we had our hands full. After much thought we decided the only way to really get it was to do it…so we signed Will Lyons up. Follow along as we cover the games and document one persons experience participating in as many disciplines as possible. After the 13.7 mile 2900 foot climb to the top of Vail Pass it was time for some more running. The Teva x-1 Mud Run was the perfect 5k cool down for xtreme mountain athlete Will Lyons. Next up…cross country mountain bike racing. Enjoy!

The final event of Will’s beatdown on Saturday was the Cross Country Mountain Biking. The 2100 foot climb was a bit of a heartbreaker after the half marathon up Vail Pass and the 5k mud run. Next up the climbing comp.
